Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct conduit bending and cable-pulling operations
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Perform drilling and cutting-in tasks for switches, receptacles, and lights
  • Operate standard construction power tools

Requirements

  • Registered apprentice through the Industry Training Authority (ITA) with a minimum of one year of schooling in the electrical field
  • Previous electrical field experience is required
  • Commercial or residential construction experience is an asset
  • Basic hand tools and cordless power tools
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Adequate knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
  • Willingness to work out of town, longer shifts, and/or evening shifts

Compensation and Benefits

Apprentices can expect to earn between $19.79/hour and $30.69/hour, while Journeypersons can earn up to $36/hour. Additionally, we offer health and dental benefits, RRSP matching after one year, and a total compensation package ranging from $22.13/hour to $38.83/hour.
