Key Responsibilities- Assess and Document Patient Care
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions, documenting symptoms and changes in their status.
Develop and Implement Care PlansCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Administer Medications and TreatmentsDispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring the highest level of patient safety.
Supervise and Educate Nursing StaffSupervise and educate licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Perform Administrative TasksManage administrative tasks, including documentation, reporting, and communication with families and healthcare teams.
Requirements- Education and Experience
Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and relevant experience in geriatric care.
Certifications and LicensesBasic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, CPR Certificate, and licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
