As a UPS Package Driver, you will be responsible for the timely delivery and collection of packages from both residential and commercial locations. This position requires driving and involves frequent lifting, lowering, and carrying of packages in a dynamic and physically demanding environment. Our drivers prioritize safe transportation practices while ensuring exceptional customer service through efficiency and commitment.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday ( Must be available to work Saturdays and all five weekdays)

Location: Owen Sound, ON

Shift Start Time: 9:15 AM (Flexibility in start and end times is necessary)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Efficiently deliver and collect UPS packages. Master and apply UPS's safe and defensive driving techniques. Assist in loading and unloading of delivery vehicles as needed. Maintain accurate records of package deliveries. Adhere to UPS's appearance standards by wearing the provided uniform.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Capability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs. (32kg) without assistance. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Proficient in using maps, GPS devices, and navigation tools. Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday, with some Mondays. Valid Ontario G driver's license required. Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents in the past three years and a maximum of two violations in the same period. No traffic violations in the last year and five demerit points over the past three years. Strong skills in customer service.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

HOURLY WAGE: $17.30 Union Collective Agreement - $35.78 per hour after seniority and 48 months of service. Overtime opportunities. Weekly pay schedule.
