About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at A STAR PAINTING LTD. as a Janitorial Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Dusting and Vacuuming: Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy space.
  • Sanitizing and Disinfecting: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Trash and Debris: Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing space.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills is essential for this position.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
