Expeditor - Project Coordinator

CB Canada is seeking an Expeditor to join our team. As an Expeditor, you will be responsible for coordinating expediting activities with project management, procurement, engineering, construction, planning, and scheduling teams.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Coordinate expediting activities with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Supplier Management: Maintain relationships with suppliers to monitor progress of material and equipment orders.
- Reporting: Produce weekly expediting reports for review at project team meetings.
- Documentation: Maintain a working file of expediting related documents and memoranda of conversations.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve problems related to expediting activities.
- Education: Related Bachelor's degree or college diploma.
- Experience: At least 8-10 years' experience in procurement of major equipment and bulk materials.
- Skills: Proficient in interpreting schedules, skilled in oral and written communication skills, and proficient in technical and production matters.
- Refineries Experience: Experience in refineries is an asset.
- Certifications: CPSM/CPPM/CPP (Certified Professional Supply Management; Certified Professional Purchasing Management; Certified Purchasing Professional) would be an asset.
