About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Apollo Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the needs of our customers, including special meals for patients as instructed by our dietitian or chef.
  • Kitchen Operations Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and work areas.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and provide guidance on food safety and quality control.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
