About the TeamOur Product Marketing team is dedicated to articulating the story of our products to our clientele and users. This team is responsible for our product and feature positioning and collaborates closely with both our product and sales teams to realize our product vision.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for our products, ensuring alignment with business goals, target demographics, and customer requirements.
- Identify market opportunities, perform competitive assessments, and establish unique value propositions to distinguish our solutions in the marketplace.
- Create clear and compelling positioning and messaging for our products, addressing significant customer challenges and emphasizing unique features and advantages.
- Collaborate with product management and sales teams to refine product positioning and messaging based on market insights and evolving customer needs.
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive demand, enhance lead generation, and accelerate sales pipeline growth.
- Manage product launches comprehensively, overseeing all go-to-market components of a launch (positioning, demand generation, and awareness), while working cross-functionally to ensure organization-wide execution.
- Partner with demand generation, web branding, and marketing operations teams to create impactful marketing materials, including website content, landing pages, sales collateral, and more.
- Develop sales enablement resources and tools, such as product guides, sales presentations, battle cards, and training programs, to equip our sales team with the necessary knowledge and resources to effectively promote our products.
- Communicate the vision and narrative behind our product and feature messaging to our sales team.
- Participate in regular training sessions and enablement workshops to educate our sales team on product features, use cases, and competitive positioning.
- Establish a process to gather feedback from prospects/customers through our sales team and effectively channel these requests to our product team.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to identify emerging opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
- Utilize market insights, customer feedback, and data analytics to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
- Act as the 'voice of the customer' and conduct both internal and external customer & market research to guide product direction.
- Effectively manage and mentor a product marketing team and cross-functional PMM squad.
- 5+ years of experience in product marketing.
- 1-2 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in highly collaborative environments.
- Extensive experience working with sales teams is highly preferred.
- Ability to articulate and convey a product/feature narrative in an engaging manner.
- Proficiency in marketing automation and CRM tools.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with experience in data analysis and making data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of sales, digital marketing, and growth marketing strategies and techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in a hybrid product-led and sales-led business is advantageous.
