Job Title: On-Call Special Education/Resource Teachers

The Vancouver School Board is seeking qualified applicants for the position of On-Call Special Education/Resource Teachers. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional learning experiences for students with diverse needs.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans for students with special needs
  • Provide academic and behavioral support to students in a variety of settings
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong understanding of special education principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
