About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Associate to join our team at OpenRoad Auto Group. As an Accounting Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Post vehicle sales onto the general ledger and review deals on a daily basis.
  • Check car deal paperwork for compliance and accuracy.
  • Document filing and preparation of month-end Cardesk packages.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Contribute to a strong relationship with the business unit through positive interactions.
  • Assist with preparations for audits and financial reviews.
  • Perform financial activities, including month-end/year-end closing and submission, analysis, and reconciliation of general ledger accounts in a timely manner.
  • Process daily vehicle flooring payout and chattel.
  • Keep track of payments and receipts between the dealership and manufacturer.
Requirements
  • Solid accounting mindset and knowledge of accounting basics.
  • Sensitivity to number matching and reconciliation.
  • Ability to process a high volume of transactions efficiently.
  • Highly self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
  • Previous accounting and automotive experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CDK or ADP is an asset.
