Pharmacy Manager Job Description

Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our team at Picton Clinic Pharmacy in Picton, ON. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and motivate staff to provide excellent patient care and service.
  • Oversee the dispensing of medications, including pharmaceutical and clinical care, patient counseling, and liaising with other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care, staff performance, and business outcomes.
  • Manage the internal recruitment and selection process, and provide training and support to new employees.
  • Perform performance assessments, provide feedback, and develop action plans to improve staff performance.
Requirements:
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacy.
  • Injection certification required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and make decisions in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
