We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cafeteria Cashier to join our team at SNB Ferry Cafe. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

• Operate Cash Register: Accurately process customer transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
• Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and well-stocked store environment, including the counter area, shelves, and surrounding areas.
• Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in initiatives that support the settlement and integration of newcomers and refugees, such as providing information and resources, and assisting with basic needs.
• Support for Youths: Participate in programs that support youth employment, such as providing on-the-job training and creating a welcoming work environment.
• Support for Indigenous People: Participate in initiatives that support Indigenous people, such as providing cultural competency training and creating a welcoming work environment.

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience: Experience an asset.
• Language: English.
• Work Hours: 30 to 36 hours per week.
