About the Role

Naylor Building Partnerships Inc. is a leading Canadian contractor specializing in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and compressed air services. As a Project Manager (HVAC), you will be responsible for overseeing various HVAC projects, including chillers, VRF, boilers, and commercial HVAC retrofit and new construction. Your focus will be on managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess client needs and provide HVAC solutions
  • Estimate and design customer-specific HVAC solutions for replacement and installations
  • Review project drawings and specifications
  • Understand mechanical drawings and identify potential issues
  • Manage Change Orders and track job costing and profitability
  • Attend site project meetings and coordinate project schedules
  • Monitor field progress and schedules
  • Create material and labor budgets for each job
  • Track POs, supplier, and subcontractor invoices before payment
  • Track and report project progress and job costing
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress and billing forecasts for each project
  • Coordinate work crews, materials, and subtrades
  • Ensure Health and Safety protocols are set up and adhered to on all projects
  • Prepare O&M manuals and As Built for project completion
Requirements
  • (313A) HVACR designation with service/projects background
  • 2+ years of experience in estimating/project management
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge of HVAC, Refrigeration, Hydronics
  • Knowledge of construction codes applicable to mechanical building systems
  • Strong written and oral communication, as well as leadership skills
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, CET
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Strong time management skills
  • Decisive, focused leadership, and results-driven
  • 5+ years industry experience
