What You Can Expect to Do- Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with contract documents and safety standards.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation.
- Monitor and measure work progress, quality, and quantity.
- Support quality assurance and material sampling.
- Lead, assist, and mentor junior staff.
- Liaise with contractors, clients, and stakeholders.
- Experience inspecting municipal construction contracts with a minimum of five years of experience.
- Graduation from a Civil Engineering Technology or Technologist College Program or a Civil Engineering University Program.
- Certification by OACETT or registration with PEO as an Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in interpreting contract documents, specifications, and technical drawings.
