What You Can Expect to Do
  • Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with contract documents and safety standards.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation.
  • Monitor and measure work progress, quality, and quantity.
  • Support quality assurance and material sampling.
  • Lead, assist, and mentor junior staff.
  • Liaise with contractors, clients, and stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience inspecting municipal construction contracts with a minimum of five years of experience.
  • Graduation from a Civil Engineering Technology or Technologist College Program or a Civil Engineering University Program.
  • Certification by OACETT or registration with PEO as an Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in interpreting contract documents, specifications, and technical drawings.
