Job Title: Health Educator Staff

Health Careers in Sask is seeking a Health Educator Staff to join our team. As a Health Educator Staff, you will play a key role in promoting healthy lifestyles and supporting a healthy workplace.

Job Summary:

This is a part-time temporary position that will work closely with the Healthy Workplace Leadership Team to monitor and support the on-site fitness facilities, ensuring a safe workout environment. You will also support and educate employees in healthy lifestyles programming.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and support the on-site fitness facilities to ensure a safe workout environment
  • Support and educate employees in healthy lifestyles programming
  • Work closely with the Healthy Workplace Leadership Team to develop and implement health promotion initiatives
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote healthy lifestyles and well-being
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent
  • Advanced mediation, research, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of education and program development, implementation, and evaluation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • HSAS membership
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body
