Job Summary

Duncan's Ltd is seeking a skilled Labourer - Metal Fabrication to join our team. As a Labourer - Metal Fabrication, you will be responsible for assisting metal workers, operating metal cleaning equipment, and performing various tasks related to metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Load and unload vehicles
Work Environment

The Labourer - Metal Fabrication will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, physically demanding conditions, and manual dexterity required. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and reliability.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots
