Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Sagittarius Cargo Services.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and resolving work problems. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, including training workers in duties and policies
  • Prepare and submit reports, including performance reviews and operational logistics plans
  • Ensure compliance with security and safety protocols, including criminal record checks
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and handle heavy loads
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in logistics, operations, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment:

The Logistics Coordinator will work in a retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre environment, with a focus on ensuring smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.

Security and Safety:

The Logistics Coordinator will be required to undergo a criminal record check and ensure compliance with security and safety protocols.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

The Logistics Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and handle heavy loads.
