Job Description

As an Audio Visual Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our technical operations in various venues throughout Western Canada. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of technicians in setting up, operating, and tearing down audio visual equipment for a wide range of events.
  • Assisting in the coordination of technical operations, including equipment preparation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring their technical needs are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborating with our team to deliver flawless execution and impeccable customer service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced knowledge of audio visual equipment and services, including computer networking and software infrastructure.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to work with clients and team members.
  • Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Professional experience in large format projection, LED video walls, professional video cameras, video switching, streaming/hybrid services, and large format audio reinforcement design, mixing, recording, and delivery.
  • Advanced knowledge of video systems, including Panasonic switching, Barco Event Master, and projectors.
  • Experience with BlackMagic and Sony camera chains, as well as LED video wall components.
  • Knowledge of audio systems, including Yamaha, DigiCo, Midas mixing consoles, and Meyer line array systems.
  • Audio software experience with Shure Wireless Workbench, Meyer MappXD, and Mapp 3D, Soundvision, and Smaart software tools.

Job Type
