About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at HARJOT SINGH BALAGAN. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Exercise and Activity: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, and engage in activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold a valid CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Availability: Be available for shift or on-call work, including evenings and weekends.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
