We are seeking a dedicated individual to enhance our Information Technology Department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering infrastructure and process support for ICT in our manufacturing operations, including the deployment of essential applications that contribute to the plants' SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale) objectives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing support for both Office and Shopfloor environments while collaborating directly with management and plant personnel.
  • Implementing ICT Governance by upholding and enforcing ICT standards and protocols within the local ICT framework.
  • Facilitating Shopfloor system integration and development initiatives.
  • Managing Microsoft Office Suite, server, and workstation setup and troubleshooting.
  • Developing technical procedures and documentation for applications.
  • Participating in weekly management meetings to review progress and address issues.
  • Overseeing ICT project management.
  • Providing technical support for VM Ware integration.
  • Delivering daily assistance for assigned ICT tickets through our internal ticketing system.
  • Performing any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor/manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or relevant practical experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated business discipline and acumen.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate application systems, user needs, identify issues, and propose solutions.
  • Familiarity with Exchange and SharePoint environments.
  • Extensive experience with client/server distributed computer systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in server platform installations and support.
  • Knowledge of VM Ware concerning installation, creation, and support.
