About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver - Long Haul to join our team at 12113147 Canada Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Logistics Coordination: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Vehicle Operation: Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring safe and secure transportation.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform preventive maintenance as required.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and inspecting it regularly.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold a valid AZ class license and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Documentation: Be familiar with accident or incident reports, driver logbooks, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports.
  • Communication Systems: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment.
  • Transportation Experience: Have experience with long-haul and short-haul transportation.
  • Work Conditions: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Possess flexibility, organization, reliability, and teamwork skills.
