Job Title: Recreation Coordinator

We are seeking a creative and passionate Recreation Coordinator to join our team at Les Tours Angrignon residence in LaSalle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing activities that promote a sense of community and well-being among our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and engage residents in activities and events
  • Animate and oversee supervision during activities
  • Decorate the premises for special events
  • Manage logistics related to activities
  • Validate that activities meet the needs and desires of residents and collaborate with other departments to facilitate tasks
  • Plan the activities calendar
  • Promote activities to residents
  • Write the in-house newspaper as needed and take resident registrations for activities
  • Lead exercise sessions for residents
Requirements:
  • Degree in recreation or related field
  • Experience in managing activities for older adults (an asset)
  • Knowledge of seniors' residences (a major asset)
