About the Role

Hawksworth Restaurant Group is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Wine Connoisseur to join their team. As a Wine Connoisseur, you will be responsible for providing exceptional wine service to guests, while also contributing to the development of the wine program.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of wine regions, grape varieties, and winemaking techniques.
• Provide expert wine recommendations to guests, taking into account their preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create wine pairings and menus that showcase the best of the wine list.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest wine trends and developments, and share knowledge with the team.
• Contribute to the development of the wine program, including wine list creation and inventory management.

Requirements

• WSET 4 certification or equivalent experience.
• Work permit.
