Senior Machine Learning Operations Engineer

Wawanesa Insurance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Operations Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Collaborate with Data Analysts and ML Engineers to design and develop machine learning models that meet business needs.
- Deployment and Monitoring: Ensure the smooth deployment and monitoring of machine learning models, including infrastructure setup and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Algorithm Assessment and Improvement: Assess and improve algorithms, feature sets, and validation metrics to ensure their efficacy for specific problems.
- Code Conversion and Enhancement: Convert exploration team's code into robust, production-level solutions, including infrastructure setup for training and monitoring.
- MLOps Infrastructure Maintenance: Oversee the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of our model-agnostic MLOps infrastructure and Python package.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with development teams to test and deploy machine learning models, and create metrics to continuously evaluate their performance.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to performance standards and compliance to data security and model governance requirements.
- Experience: More than five years of experience in developing and deploying enterprise-scale machine learning solutions.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in software engineering, data science, or computer science, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent work experience).
- Skills: Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, experience in code reproducibility and version control, advanced programming skills with Python and SQL, proficiency in Linux, Bash, and Docker, and exceptional communication skills.
