Key Responsibilities

The Night Shift Leader will ensure customers receive friendly and professional service. This role will provide management and guidance to Department Clerks through coaching and training employees to achieve maximum execution of the strategy, standards, and offerings. Actively foster an environment of employee and customer engagement.

Main Focus Areas
  1. Deliver customer service to fulfill customer needs
  2. Supervise employees during the night shift
  3. Schedule, train, coach, and develop night shift staff
  4. Oversee all aspects of store operations during the night shift
  5. Ensure department standards are maintained and the store is prepared for business at the end of each shift
  6. Process and receive grocery orders
  7. Merchandise the Grocery Department
  8. Conduct retail floor maintenance
  9. Manage back shop operations
  10. Ensure adherence to all applicable company policies and procedures
  11. Responsible for implementing and maintaining OH&S, food safety, security, and other regulatory requirements
  12. Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
  1. Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
  2. Comprehensive knowledge of department operations and skills
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, time management, and multitasking abilities
  5. Ability to recruit, train, and mentor staff
  6. High School Diploma
  7. Minimum six months of relevant experience
