About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Arc'teryx. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality of our software applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers and business analysts, to identify and prioritize testing requirements
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of complex systems
  • Identify and report defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
  • Develop and maintain user documentation for QA team members
  • Support the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks
  • Participate in production releases and ensure that all testing is completed prior to deployment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years' experience in software QA, with a focus on testing and quality assurance
  • Experience with API testing and test automation tools
  • Proficiency in developing test plans and scenarios, and in using Agile project tracking tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
  • Passion for quality and problem-solving, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Estimate QA work for larger initiatives and develop plans to ensure timely completion
  • Document best practices in QA and provide training to team members
  • Evaluate and evolve automated testing frameworks to ensure they meet the needs of the team
  • Collaborate with manual testers on testing strategies and ensure that all testing is completed prior to deployment
