About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrician Apprentice to join our team at EMA Electric LTD. As an Electrician Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install electrical controls and panel boxes to ensure safe and efficient electrical distribution.
  • Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes to maintain the integrity of our electrical systems.
  • Design and construct single-phase service for single or multimeter installations, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits to ensure optimal electrical performance.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate faults to minimize downtime and ensure prompt resolution.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, youth employment, and Indigenous people.
  • Work in a team environment to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the electrical trade.
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • English language proficiency as the primary language of communication.
  • 35 to 40 hours per week of work, with regular breaks and time off.
