Food Service Manager

At Hero Certified Burgers, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that all customers receive excellent service.
- Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports, and prepare budget and cost estimates for food and kitchen supplies.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk. The ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail is essential.

The language of work is English.
Hours of Work:40 hours per week.
