Job Title: Expert System SCADA Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Expert System SCADA Engineer to join our client's team. As a key member of the ICS team, you will be responsible for the configuration, installation, and maintenance of the system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify solutions, resolve operational issues, and improve commercial performance or existing systems.
  • Establish effective communication and build trust with functional units to identify problems, evaluate needs, and examine solutions.
  • Contribute actively to projects and assist in designing applications as a member of the project team.
  • Compile and document requirements with the project team to express client needs.
  • Write and update system documentation, as well as train users as needed.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, coordinate testing, and document results as needed.
  • Provide direct support to clients on service-related questions.
  • Collaborate with technical and design teams to find solutions and implement them.
  • Ensure end-user training to promote and support new systems or solutions.
  • Configure, code, test, develop reports, and coordinate with technical resources on application project.
  • Ensure post-deployment application support.
  • Interact with end-users of the functional unit in all phases of projects and support activities.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in computer science or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial control languages and network equipment such as routers and switches.
  • 3 years of experience in IT on the Office suite, relational databases, etc.
  • Experience with industrial control systems, including configuration, installation, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of decentralized control systems, software, programmable controllers, HMI, industrial systems, or protocols.
  • Expertise in computer systems and operating systems, and the links between systems.
  • Open to travel.
