Job Title: Youth & Family Coordinator - Full-time

The Arbutus Club is seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to oversee the Youth and Family department. This is a key position at our Club and is responsible for creating opportunities for children and their families to be together, create memories and enrich their lives through sport, the arts and play.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, coordinate, and supervise the Youth Department facilities and programs.
  • Manage the Youth staff team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Market and promote youth programs, events, and seasonal camps.
  • Accountable for budgets, billings, and invoices for assigned areas.
  • Organize and lead large-scale family events.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Exceptional member service skills, strong leadership, and team-building skills.
  • A background in event planning, coaching, program development, or summer camps is an asset.
  • A strong passion for working with children and creating a positive and fun experience.
  • 5 years' experience in working with children and youth in an educational or recreational setting.
  • A degree in a relevant area of study is preferred.
