Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team at JAWANDA LANDSCAPING LTD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Supervise and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of landscapers and gardeners to ensure efficient and effective completion of projects.
  • Organize Planting and Maintenance: Plan and coordinate the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, as well as schedule regular maintenance to keep our outdoor spaces looking their best.
  • Schedule Events and Programs: Coordinate events, programs, and activities that promote the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement plans for the maintenance of our grounds, including scheduling and supervising staff.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Create detailed plans and estimates for landscape construction projects, including labour and materials costs.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position, offering a stable and secure work environment.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Hours: 30-40 hours per week, providing a healthy work-life balance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
