Job Title: Senior Trust Officer

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Trust Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Wealth Management group, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to high net worth individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of high net worth clients, providing personalized service and support to meet their financial needs.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive wealth management plans, including investment, estate, and tax planning strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, including investment advisors and financial planners, to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in wealth management, estate planning, or a related field.
  • Professional accreditation, such as CFP or CAIA, is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
