Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and profitability of the facility, aligning with the company's overall business strategy.
- Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of production to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing of high-quality steel blanks, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the management team to ensure a high-performing and motivated workforce, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure the highest standards of product quality, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and product quality.
- Relationship Management: Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the facility.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage the plant's budget to ensure cost-effective operations, monitoring financial performance and implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve financial targets.
- Integration of Strategic Plans: Ensure the seamless integration of strategic plans across all departments within the facility, coordinating with other plants and corporate functions to align strategic initiatives and share best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a manufacturing plant, preferably in the steel or metal industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial management.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior management, staff, and external partners.
- Ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in automotive manufacturing with experience in steel and press shops.
- Strong understanding of modern manufacturing technologies and best practices.
