Key Responsibilities- Sanitation and Cleaning: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen by washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and free of clutter.
- Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit as needed for meal preparation.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for Youths: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
- Support for Indigenous People: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
- Support for Mature Workers: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers.
- Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.
- Language of Work: English is the primary language of work, with opportunities to work with diverse groups and individuals.
