Factory Laborer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Factory Laborer to join our Production Team at Matelas Avanti Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our factory by performing various tasks related to material handling, quality control, and equipment maintenance.

• Material Handling: Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment and manually, ensuring timely and efficient movement of materials and products.
• Quality Control: Check and weigh materials and products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
• Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist in the social and labour market integration of newcomers and refugees by facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
• Support for Youths: Provide on-the-job training tailored to youth, helping them develop new skills and gain work experience.
• Support for Mature Workers: Offer phased re-entry options for mature workers returning to work after retirement, gradually increasing their hours and responsibilities.
• Support for Visible Minorities: Pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees through mentorship programs, promoting career advancement and professional growth.

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
• Language: English or French.
• Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
