Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting our manufacturing and retail operations teams by providing management with sales, profitability, merchandising, expenses, and other key financial analyses. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving and growing company while being exposed to various areas of the business.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Support manufacturing operations in all aspects of analysis, including standard costs, inventory, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Business Unit Support: Support various retail business units in evaluating financial performance and providing information and recommendations to business unit management teams.
  • Trend Analysis: Proactively review trends, variances, and financial performance of key in-store performance indicators to alert management to actionable situations and make recommendations.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate monthly and quarterly financial results with analyses and recommendations for various stakeholders.
  • Annual Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process and analysis for the responsible business units.
  • Special Projects: Special projects and other related tasks as requested by immediate supervisor.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in finance or similar field.
  • Experience: 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in consulting, auditing, or financial analysis, with a specialization in manufacturing or retail sales operations.
  • Language: Bilingual - Spoken and written French and English.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and data manipulation skills, with financial modeling and analysis skills. Solid knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
