Job Summary

Cyclone Manufacturing Inc. is seeking a skilled Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and programming CNC machines to produce high-precision parts and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including milling machines, lathes, and grinders.
  • Program CNC machines using computer-aided design (CAD) software and programming languages.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments.
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in CNC machining or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining principles and practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Working Conditions

The CNC Machinist will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The position requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs), and wearing steel-toed safety boots.
