About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Law Clerk to join our team at Cartel Inc. as a Condo Commercial Real Estate Law Clerk. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable law firm, managing all aspects of condominium and commercial real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate as part of a team of experienced real estate clerks working with condominium developers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Condominium project set-up using LawyerDoneDeal or other project software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Process, administer, and manage interim closings and final closings, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Assist with various other real estate matters, as needed, to provide comprehensive support to the team.
  • Communicate and/or report to clients and the supervising lawyer, maintaining excellent relationships and ensuring clear understanding of project progress.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the team and contribute to the success of Cartel Inc.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Real Estate Law Clerk, preferably with mid to senior level condominium experience.
  • Successful completion of a related post-secondary Law Clerk program.
  • Expertise with Teraview, Excel, and LawyerDoneDeal (Project Module preferred) to efficiently manage projects and data.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when needed to meet project deadlines and ensure timely completion.
  • High level of professionalism and leadership ability to lead a closing team and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to handle time pressure and stress of multiple demands, maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
  • Microsoft Office 365 suite of applications to effectively communicate and manage projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Docketing time efficiently to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong ability to lead and collaborate.
