About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at Gursarb Construction Ltd. as a Bricklaying Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and lead a team of bricklayers and other construction personnel to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Provide guidance and training to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that all construction work meets the required quality standards.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any quality control issues.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed on site.
    • Develop and implement safety procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
    • Prepare and submit regular project reports to management and clients.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 7 months of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in English language.
