We are committed to fostering a vibrant academic environment that prioritizes excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to our undergraduate and graduate programs in Psychiatric Nursing.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and impactful instruction in both undergraduate and graduate-level courses within the field of Psychiatric Nursing.
  • Develop and maintain a robust program of research/scholarship that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in psychiatric nursing.
  • Actively participate in service activities that benefit the university, the broader healthcare community, and the public at large.
Qualifications:
  • Possess current registration or eligibility for registration with CRPNM or CRNM.
  • Hold a Doctorate or Master's degree in Psychiatric Nursing or a closely related discipline. A minimum of five (5) years of relevant academic and/or professional experience is required.
  • Consideration will be given to individuals from other health and social service/science professions with demonstrable expertise in psychiatric nursing.
  • Proven teaching experience at the post-secondary level is essential.
  • Recent clinical experience is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
