We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a DZ Driver. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up equipment, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload equipment, securing it per company procedure and inspecting in transit if necessary.
  • Deliver and pick up equipment, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records, providing transparency and accountability.
  • Secure customer signatures on contracts, if not already signed.
  • Inform supervisors of any difficulties with deliveries or pickups.
  • Identify and report new sales opportunities and job sites to management.
  • Double-check delivered items to ensure customers receive exactly what they ordered.
  • Notify Rental Coordinators or branches if behind schedule, allowing customers to be contacted.
  • Instruct customers on equipment operation, ensuring safe and effective use.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections, checking gas, oil, and other fluid levels.
Requirements:
  • Valid DZ driver's license and driver's abstract in good standing.
  • Familiarity with local roads and ability to navigate safely.
  • Experience moving heavy oversize loads is an asset.
  • Experience driving roll-off trucks is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
  • Ability to work overtime when required.
