Key Responsibilities
The Project Coordinator will assist the team in all aspects related to off-site steel structure fabrication, as well as manage the logistics of deliveries and storage on-site. Key knowledge and experience sought include:
- Reviewing shop drawings
- Evaluating welding and fabrication procedures
- Conducting quantity take-offs
- Reviewing quality control and assurance documentation
- Managing non-conformance issues
- Coordinating deliveries to the site
- Organizing laydown areas
Required Knowledge and Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in design-build construction projects
- 2-3 years of experience with structural steel fabrication
- 2-3 years of experience managing non-conformances
- Familiarity with Canadian/US fabrication standards
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of steel structures
- Knowledge of Canadian/US fabrication and welding standards
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary range of $70,000 to $82,000
- Standard work hours of 37.5 hours per week
