Job Title: Driver Route CDL-Shred

As a key member of the Stericycle team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while collecting and transporting confidential documents in a timely and accurate manner.

About the Role:

  • $19.66 per hour
  • 4-day work week / 7am start
  • Full benefits package

Job Summary:

The Shred-it Route Driver is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety. You will be responsible for loading and unloading the delivery vehicle, ensuring all cargo is safely secured before transport, and performing pre-trip and post-trip checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform onsite/offsite document destruction of confidential information in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Operate company equipment in a safe and efficient manner to minimize the risk of injury and equipment damage.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal laws governing driver fitness and hours of service.
  • Manage assigned routes to ensure customers' confidential material is collected and serviced in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Handle and respond to customer problems and inquiries expediently and in the best interest of both the customer and Stericycle.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in route management, driving shred trucks, and box trucks.
  • Current driver's license (Class 5 or equivalent) with an excellent driving record.
  • Medical Examiners Certification and Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
