We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at 11 & 15 HD Mechanical Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work on heavy-duty equipment.
- Repair and Replacement: Diagnose and repair or replace defective parts, and adjust equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Inventory Management: Order parts and maintain inventory levels to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair work and maintenance reports.
- Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required to repair or maintain equipment.
- Heavy Truck Repair: Perform repair work on heavy trucks, including verifying and repairing emission control systems.
- Attachments and Tools: Service attachments and working tools to ensure optimal performance.
As a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, you will work in a fast-paced environment with dusty and noisy conditions. You will be required to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a variety of settings, including outdoors.
Requirements- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
- Language: English or French is the primary language of communication for this role.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
