Communications and Marketing Specialist

Cuso International is seeking a highly skilled Communications and Marketing Advisor to join our team in Lima, Peru. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and powerful communications materials to effectively capture and demonstrate the impact and results of our work.
About the Role:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to promote our work and engage with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Country Representative, Program Managers, and Country Team to create compelling content and materials.
- Support the creation of training materials, including capacity building and social media training for staff, volunteers, and partners.
- Write, produce, and disseminate stories that capture the value of international volunteering and the work of our partner organizations.
- Take photos and videos, produce articles, and disseminate them on social media and other media outlets.
- Contribute to workshops and field visits, collaborating with other volunteers and staff.
Requirements:
- Degree in journalism, communications, digital marketing, political science, graphic design, or a related field.
- Experience in handling audiovisual tools, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, and Coreldraw.
- Video editing skills.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in Latin America as a communications consultant, graphic designer, or similar role.
- Experience in research and interviewing.
- Skills in graphic design software, video editing, and photography.
- Good interpersonal and intercultural skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of audiences and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Creativity, good judgment, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong command of the Spanish language (written and oral).
