About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team at Master Foam Inc. as a Furniture Restoration Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring and refinishing furniture to its original glory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Replace worn-out webbing, springs, and other furniture parts to ensure the structural integrity of the piece.
  • Lay out, cut, fabricate, and install new upholstery to match the original design.
  • Tack, glue, or sew ornamental trim, braids, or buttons to add a touch of elegance to the furniture.
  • Repair furniture frames and refinish wood surfaces to restore the piece to its original condition.
  • Operate sewing machines or sew by hand to create custom upholstery solutions.
Requirements
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform intricate tasks.
  • Ability to work on site, with no option for remote work.
