Job Summary:
AltaGas is seeking a highly skilled Risk Analyst to join our team. As a Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks associated with our contracts and confirmations process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk reviews of transactions in our ETRM system to ensure compliance with approved transaction limits.
- Verify the accuracy of trades and create trade confirmations for counterparties.
- Collaborate with the Middle Office team to ensure seamless trade processing and compliance.
- Assist in the implementation and communication of processes to support Middle Office trade compliance policies.
- Participate in process improvement and documentation activities.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in the energy industry.
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with commercial representatives.
- Knowledge of SOX controls performance demands.
- Experience with an ETRM software platform is an asset.
