Canada Mobile X-Ray Inc. is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for operating X-ray, radiographic, and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Imaging Equipment: Operate X-ray, radiographic, and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform Diagnostic Procedures: Perform diagnostic procedures using radioactive materials on biological specimens.
  • Record and Process Results: Record and process results of procedures, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Apply Radiation Protection Measures: Apply radiation protection measures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Explain Procedures: Explain procedures and side effects of radiation to patients, ensuring they are informed and comfortable throughout the process.
  • Perform Quality Control Checks: Perform basic verification and quality control checks on radiographic and film processing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Record and Process Patient Data: Record and process patient data, including medical history and test results.
  • Provide Patient Care: Provide appropriate care and monitoring of patients during examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Work Environment

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist with Canada Mobile X-Ray Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet deadlines and produce high-quality results. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
