Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for leading and developing our company's business intelligence and analytics strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business intelligence and analytics strategy
  • Design and build enterprise data warehouses and related processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery
  • Develop and maintain metrics, KPIs, and analytic solutions to address business information needs
  • Provide technical and architectural guidance to projects and teams to ensure effective reporting and analysis
  • Ensure that architectural designs adhere to standards and principles and follow usability design standards
  • Design, coordinate, and execute pilots, prototypes, or proof of concepts to validate business opportunities
  • Act as IT liaison for business intelligence across business functions and work with various decision makers, business partners, and customers to develop best-in-class business intelligence and analytics solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or equivalent from an accredited four-year institution
  • 2-3+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics
  • Experience in the design and building of enterprise data warehouses and related processes
  • Familiarity in working with both custom-built data warehouses or predefined data warehouse models
  • Excellent understanding of data modeling, SQL, and ETL
  • Experience in multiple database platforms, including SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2
  • Experience with the following: Microsoft Analytics Platform and related applications, Web Focus, or other business intelligence technologies (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, in-memory analytics, etc.)
  • Experience hosting and delivering cloud-based analytic solutions (e.g., via AWS and Azure)
