We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Marie Santiago. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Organization and Attention to Detail: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, pay attention to details, and ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, work independently, and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, sitting, standing for extended periods, and walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, excellent written communication, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.
