Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to operate our tractor-trailers and transport goods and materials across various routes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of cargo, adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate tractor-trailers to transport goods and materials across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Documentation: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communication: Relay information to central dispatch and receive payments for goods.
  • Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs and respond to unexpected situations.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and a valid driver's license.
  • Experience: Will train, but previous experience in trucking is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgment, organization, reliability, and teamwork.
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver with CHAHAL BROS TRANSPORT, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions and long hours. You must be physically fit and able to sit for extended periods.
